TRAILER PROGRAM
Two Trailers Filled with Supplies to Support Community Improvement Projects
Keep Akron Beautiful offers two fully equipped trailers for residents and community groups to borrow for neighborhood improvement projects: the Community Pride Trailer (CPT) and the Litter & Illegal Dump Cleanup Trailer (CLT).
Community Pride Trailer (CPT) – This trailer is stocked with landscaping tools and beautification supplies to help residents complete projects such as planting, mulching, weeding, and general site cleanup.
Litter & Illegal Dump Cleanup Trailer (CLT) – Designed for large-scale litter removal, this trailer includes tools and supplies specifically for cleaning up litter hotspots and illegal dump sites throughout the city.
Both trailers are free to borrow for City of Akron residents, neighborhood groups, and community volunteers. Projects must take place within the City of Akron and be located on public, nonprofit, or church property (no personal properties). Groups must have at least five committed volunteers to qualify. Each trailer may be borrowed for up to three days per project.
Trailers are available May through September, weather permitting, and are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. KAB staff deliver and pick up the trailer directly from the approved project site.

Special Thanks:
This program represents Keep Akron Beautiful’s commitment to expanding urban beautification beyond our downtown Flowerscapes. By revitalizing vacant and abandoned lots, we help transform neglected spaces into safe, attractive areas where neighbors can create community gardens, playgrounds, and welcoming green gathering spaces.
The Community Pride Trailer (CPT) was made possible through generous initial grants from Lowes of Fairlawn, OH and the Citizens Bank Foundation.
The Litter & Illegal Dump Cleanup Trailer (CLT)was made possible through the support of the Citizens Bank Foundation.
We are grateful for these partners who help bring community-driven beautification to life across Akron.
