2. Clean Up Akron Month - Great American Cleanup®

Join KAB this April for Clean Up Akron Month, a month-long litter cleanup initiative in the City of Akron. During the month, KAB will be lending cleanup supplies to individuals and groups who want to help make their community cleaner by removing all the litter from our streets, parks, and schools after a long winter. Akronites can choose the day, time and even location of the cleanup.

1. Litter Cleanup - Individuals & Small groups

Keep Akron Beautiful (KAB) provides cleanup supplies to individuals and small groups (10 people or fewer) who want to help beautify their neighborhood, park, or local green space on their own schedule—while following important safety guidelines. Volunteers are responsible for properly disposing of the trash they collect.

KAB will supply trash bags, gloves, hand sanitizer, and up to two litter grabbers for those who wish to support their community through litter pickup.

Currently, we ask that individuals and small groups request supplies only after identifying a cleanup location.
