The People Involved
Office Crew
As CEO of Keep Akron Beautiful, Jacqui leads the nonprofit agency responsible for beautification and responsible environmental management throughout the City of Akron. She oversees the development of programs that address community needs, engages volunteers, educates students, and ensures Akron and the Greater Akron area remain clean, vibrant places to live. Jacqui also manages much of the agency’s fundraising, leads the Board of Directors, and works closely with the City of Akron Service Department.
Jacqui loves Akron and is always eager to take on new community projects and initiatives. She is a proud member of Leadership Akron Class 34 “Core 34” and a Sustainer of the Junior League of Akron. Outside of work, she enjoys walking the Towpath Trail with her husband Bruno and their children—Giuliana, Mia, and Bruno—sharing dinners at their favorite Akron restaurant, Diamond Grille, and heading downtown for a RubberDucks game.
As Finance Director, Elaine oversees all financial operations within the agency. She manages accounting, payroll, purchasing, and all fiscal processes that keep the office running smoothly and efficiently.
Elaine’s favorite Akron spots include the Towpath Trail, Don Drumm Studios, and Luigi’s. Her favorite Akron treats are Lawson’s Chip Dip and Strickland’s Ice Cream.
Emma’s connection to Keep Akron Beautiful began in 2011, when she volunteered during Clean Up Akron Month and helped remove litter under the Y-Bridge. Since then, she has remained passionate about caring for her North Hill neighborhood and promoting cleaner, safer spaces across the city.
In her role, Emma manages all content creation for KAB’s website and social media platforms, coordinates events, plans major fundraisers, and oversees the agency’s volunteer programs.
Some of Emma’s favorite Akron food stops include The Diamond Deli, The Merchant Tavern, and Lockview.
